Hello, subnauts (subnauticians???)! I'm Auste and I'm 100% new meat. I bring Kay Faraday, one of those hyper plucky teenage girls from that video game series with the lawyers and all the yelling and updated autopsy reports. Ace Attorney, das ryt.

Kay is Miles Edgeworth's self-proclaimed assistant and a ridiculous dork who calls herself the Great Thief Yatagarasu . Yet she only claims to steal the truth. She has a crazy imagination, likes to make jokes about stealing stuff and puns, and you just don't know when she's REALLY being serious. But make no mistake, she has a pretty strong sense of justice, is always ready to help, and is a happy ball of sunshine with a few daddy issues underneath. Her canon point is post-Ace Attorney Investigations 2 so let me know if you don't want spoilers for that game! Don't worry, she's not a walking spoiler.

Hi, Auste! I'm really excited to meet you! I'm honestly pretty blind to AA aside from fandom osmosis, and I'd never heard of Kay before, but she's so cute? Like, literally every thread on the TDM is adorable. I love her already. I look forward to seeing more of her and you!

Hello, it's nice to meet you too! I'm sure you're at least familiar with Edgeworth. That guy? He gets a teenage sidekick, and Kay is that sidekick. She doesn't appear in a lot of games though.

She can be a handful and he has to put up with it and worry about her safety. He's like the dad figure to a girl who lost her dad.

Welcome to the game, Auste! I haven't kept tabs with AA for a while but oh my gosh Kay sounds amazing and her rationalisation of being a thief and an assistant of Edgeworth. Super excited to see how she and Roderic here will interact in the future!
