JANUARY ACTIVITY CHECK
NOTE FOR NEW CHARACTERS: If your character has been here for less than three weeks, then you are not required to meet AC and need only check in. However, as we use this for writing the monthly post, if your character has contributed anything, big or small, please link the thread here.
AC requirements are as follows:
β’ One post with at least ten comments (five if prose) or
β’ Fifteen comments which can be spread between two threads
β’ One show of contribution (i.e. engagement with the setting) which can be any of the previous two threads or its own separate thread
Remember that we use the descriptions of contributions for information in next month's calendar and updates to the info pages, so please tell us whatever you think we need to know! A mission thread doesn't have to be OOCly complete to be considered ICly done for the calendar. Please also remember that a 'show of contribution' can be anything from helping with the monthly mission to befriending some birdogs!

SHOW OF ENGAGEMENT:
- Spoke to Sanson about the Warpers and Emperor.
- gently bullied Sorey in the labs and discussed looking for the aliens' second facility in the lava area.
- provided a bunch of public text info about the Warpers, the Emperor's take on them, the planet soul, Dragons, Emperors, Carar, and the planet waking up. Suggested checking the Warpers' reactions to cave flu antidote. Confirmed Sanson's sickness when he was attacked. Came up with some possibilities re: where the Emperor and her children might be and re: curing the Carar. Checked in with Naoko to make sure the Mountain Island crew was okay. (linked above)
- said hello (screamed hello?) to Yurio and Max.
- Went with Sorey, Dirk and Percy to speak directly to the planet soul and see if they can get an idea of how to assist it/stop the Warper attacks. (linked above)

SHOW OF ENGAGEMENT:
-Went over the information they have on the Warpers with everyone via mass texting. Also discussed the Precursors, the Carar illness, and discussed the potential of the Emperor and her children being able to cure the Carar. (link above)
- Went over findings from missions with Mikleo and helped protect the birdog nests with Alisha
- Lovingly spamming Karkat's communicator and keeping him up to date on base events, but more importantly getting Mimi's Precursor translator from him and taking a look at it.
- Discussing purification with Makoto I mean, that counts as something important when you keep having to set people on fire
- Went with Dirk, Percy, and Mikleo to speak to the planet's soul and find a solution (link above)

SHOW OF ENGAGEMENT:
Sanson tried to track down some of the Warpers, but it was largely not very productive. He also went scavenging on the Aurora and also in the disease base with Izetta, bringing back books on human biological modifications. He studied them if anyone wants to undergo them (???) but otherwise he's kept to himself and housekeeping for the base.
He also taught Hotaru and Makoto about medicine. If anyone else would like to learn, he's always open to taking more students.

SHOW OF ENGAGEMENT: He went to take care of birdogs with Nanami but sadly she never showed up and left him alone on an island for an entire day. He also got kidnapped and later rescued by Roxy and then they both got rescued by Dirk, Kanaya and Hinata. One thing learned was that when going through the portals a person seems to be everywhere for a moment and time may not have meaning. Also, since being captured felt similar to the buried memories he has a theory that this is related to how they got here. He hasn't spoken to anyone about that yet, and has no proof other than his own opinion.

She also got a prototype gun from Naoko after Kanaya delivered winter clothing, pillows, and blankets to them.
